Battery Bankhead will be filled with the acappella Barbarshop Sound of the Kitsap Chordsmen. The Kitsap Chordsmen are the performing chorus of the local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Chorus has an active singing schedule. In addition to preparing for competitions, they present an annual show, appear at seasonal festivals, and perform for corporate functions, and are available to support other organizations charitable programs. This award winning fourty seven man chorus is directed by Mike Menefee. Mike says "Let us take you on a "sentimental journey" through more than a century of American music.". The concert will feature the barbershop quartet Jaybirds. The concert starts at 7 pm so come early, pick out a good spot, and enjoy a picnic on the grass or at a table. Festival seating on your chairs or ours. The Discover and Access pass are not required to attend this event, however both passes support our parks so please purchase one so you can enjoy other parts of Fort Flagler. Admission is $5.
